    Fiona Davis is the New York Times bestselling author of seven historical fiction novels set in iconic New York City buildings, including The Spectacular, The Magnolia Palace, The Address, and The Lions of Fifth Avenue, which was a Good Morning America book club pick. She first came to New York as an actress, but fell in love with writing after getting a master's degree at Columbia Journalism School. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Oprah magazine, and elsewhere, and her books have been translated into over twenty languages. She's based in New York City.

    Barbara Linn Probst is a multiple award-winning author of contemporary women’s fiction living in New York’s Hudson Valley. Her acclaimed debut QUEEN OF THE OWLS is the story of a woman’s search for wholeness, framed around the art and life of iconic American painter Georgia O’Keeffe. Her second novel THE SOUND BETWEEN THE NOTES explores timeless questions of identity and belonging through the unique perspective of a musician, and her third novel THE COLOR OF ICE—featured right here, on our Iceland tour—is set in Iceland and framed around the magical art of glassblowing. ROLL THE SUN ACROSS THE SKY, her fourth novel, launches in May 2025.

    Barbara has also published a book for parents of quirky kids, as well as over 75 articles on writing and the writing life. In her spare time, she is a “serious amateur pianist” and an avid traveler to places such as India, Alaska, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and—of course—Iceland.
